I would say that regularly this should take a long time but it seems that Iraq is being pushed very fast to make a huge comeback. It took Vietna 12 years to be accepted into the WTO and Iraq may join this year making it a 3 year journey compared to Vietnam. Iraq has a very unique scenario unfolding. They will have to jumpstart fast because the world cannot continue to support them. So my opinion is this should take longer but the US is pushing this thing a lot faster. What will be the outcome is soon to be seen. The Bible says Iraq will become a super power and naysayers say they will fall. So it's a judgement call. I believe what the Bible says.
