One last point....you don't have to trade every day. I like to make sure I have my ducks lined up and prefer to make larger trades at market inflection points with issues poised to move with the market.

Although I do trade momo stocks from time to time...they can be hard to resist sometimes...<g>

Thanks, LG for your thoughtful reply!
Ah, so you saw that LUC was asking me if I was you too...LOL
Unbelievable, those guys just never seem to give up...ggg
At least it provides some fuel for laughter....
I really like the way you have delineated your ideas on identifying prospects, comparing timeframes starting with longer periods first, choosing 3 indicators which seem to work best, and doing the necessary homework before market to properly prepare.
Much of what you suggest I have tried or actually do but not in such a well-disciplined format. I think it would be useful to try it out as you suggest.
I agree, posting all those charts is probably wasted time, and for the moment I have cut it way back. It was personally rewarding to practice the techniques and steps to accomplish the posts, but now that the novelty has worn off, I'm thinking my time would be better spent focusing on the actual trading.
Now that I've broken down and actually posted in this unfamiliar region of Cyber-World for me, I guess I'll have to try it again! I'll make sure that it is something worthy of sharing.
Yes, God Bless America!....America needs some blessing now more than ever, IMO. A particularly troubling time so soon in this new Century. Let's hope things improve from here......

I believe over-trading is the number one killer, imo.

here's some thoughts

-Don't lose respect for money
-Better means more focused and more risk defined
-Trade with predetermined stops (also targets)
-It's OK to be wrong, it's a SIN to stay wrong

I could go on and on here,
...ok one more...

-Get in and get out <g>
