That's why I am so gaga over fuel cells. Not only there are hydrogen stations for cars already out there filling up fuel cell cars but there are Fuel Cell plants which tap into the current electric grid.

Imagine Fuel Cell plants instead of oil plants providing our electric? That's getting off our dependance of oil BUT it doesn't end there.

If we didn't want to rely on the grid, we have home energy stations where the fuel cell company sells you your own personal generator.

They need to work on the cost first then the demand will be there.

I know what you're thinking - Don't we need oil to make fuel cells and hydrogen? Yes & No. But even just yes.... we won't ever "need" the amount of oil we need today if fuel cells was the primary.
