Mayu. We shop there. I hate to admit. We go about once every 40 day. We buy our drug prescriptions there. The doctor recommended them as being cheaper.
My boy was costing me around $120 a month and my wife $80.00 a month. Now got about $50.00 knocked off by going there.
So of course we buy other things while there.
Yet I know I'm contributing to the ruin of a lot of small business stores.
The Small business man is the back bone of this country.
Yet as so many people are trying to cut corners cost wise to survive like us we are feeding a company that is contributing to the ruin of the fair economy structure that doesn't really exist with the weight they can throw around to suppliers.
One thing I can say is they are honest about the fact no way can you be the sole provider for a family and work there.
On the other hand if found guilty and I do believe they will be of hiring illegals to do janitor work, then they have crossed all the lines and need to be punished severly.
I know. Be a slap on the wrist. Excuse my dream world I live in.
Their super stores with food now is going to wipe out even more stores.
They will put one heck of a strain on the economy as time goes on. If they have more people being hired at 9.00 an hour that is less money being spent out there then like a Safeway worker at 13.00 an hour. It also takes the competition of buying goods like you read about and just turns it into a take it or leave it deal.
So more people hurt like the farmers, packaging plants, etc. on down the line.
I wish I had an answer for this. I don't.
I do apreciate the fact this writer has the perception to see we got a serious problem that is only going to get worse.
Can you imagine trying to pay health care out of a $9.00 an hour check? Huh?
Heck that don't pay the mortage let alone health insurance.
