My son is Air Force too.
We'll be here for each other. I'll keep you posted on my son (presently posted in Montana, is in Security) and will hope to hear about yours. We'll be strong for each other. And there will be lots of others here, too, praying for our sons and all the other solid, decent, good kids who are willing to do what is necessary to keep their country the best in the world.
Some of their friends and compatriots will die. We know that. We hope for each other that our sons aren't among them. But if they are, we will know they will have sacrificed for the most important thing there is in the world--the freedom of their families and their country.
God bless them both, and God help us be strong for them.
