The problem is people sitting on the bid trying to buy instead of buying at the ask. What MOST people fail to recognize about pinky stocks is that when investors sit on the bid trying to buy and there is no buying pressure at the ask, the mm's will short the shares short that people are trying to buy. Shorting must be done at the bid, even by mm's, so heavy sitting at the bid gives them PERFECT opportunity to do that. Problem is that if it is chronic buying pattern of investors to do this, sometimes a stock will crumble and not recover. I have been preaching for years to encourage people to SUPPORT their stock. BUY AT THE ASK.
