the ones listed in this complaint as "associated individuals", of course action can be taken against them...
you have to be clear as to "who" knowlingly spread false statements in relation to the charges.
Of course, anyone can sue anyone...and if one feels as though the actions of another brought harm to them monetarily, they can sue, as long as they can get a lawyer to pursue the case!
