It's GOOD to mention ideas a few times! With as many posts as we've got on our board, I can almost guarantee that a newcomer is NOT going to start on the 1st and work their way up! That's why many posters re-post the links they have to various news articles and DD.. repetition is NOT a bad thing in 99.99% of the cases!

I believe Thomas Kinkade was mentioned at least once before on the forum, but it was late at night and maybe not many people saw it. I also think it is a brilliant idea. I've got a few T.K. things and he even has a little "Jesus" fish above his name. He is ideal for crossing all Christian boundary lines, not to mention, has some really beautiful stuff, imo...
They could do the same thing with him that they are doing with Precious Moments, debut new original T.K. pieces that are only available thru E.I.
I'm from a big Catholic clan and have traveled a lot to non-catholic areas...I hate to say it, but it has been my impression that the Vatican tag would be a big turnoff to staunch non-catholics...Like I said, this is just one person's experience. Could be way off base.
