Maybe Intel announced this earlier, and I was just remember what already happened and put it as a potential future:-)
F15 converted to a sort test facility.
I think this validates the model that the oldest FABs convert to sort/test. The big question that remains is what happens to the newer 200mm 130nm copper factories. I personally continue to predict that they will upgrade to either EUV factories or 450mm wafer factories... kind of the next generation factory beyond the current crop of 300mm factories.
