#478 RE: edfei2000 #477

The Hamill Lease is a 5,255-acre natural gas production facility located in South Sergeant Field, Matagorda County, Texas. In 2004, we acquired a 20% working interest and 16% net revenue interest in total production at Hamill.

This property borders the Gulf of Mexico and is secured via a long-term lease with Hamill & Hamill. Hamill is a proven Miocene sand play.

Reserve Capacity (est*): 324,000 mcf Proven; 2,064,000 mcf Potential Undeveloped.

Production Capacity (est): 1,500+ mcf per day from 5 active wells (Well #2, #10, #11, #14 and #17). Work has commenced on a re-completion (Well #1).

Lease History: Twenty-eight Miocene dry gas sands have been penetrated in this field at depths from 2,200 feet to 6,400 feet. The “discovery well” was the J.S. Michael Hamill and Hamill #1, completed in November of 1952. Prior to discovery, Texaco drilled a dry hole in 1942, with various gas shows on well logs. To date, South Sergeant Field has produced in excess of 40 bcf of gas from thirteen wells with completions in twenty-five different sands above 6,300 feet.
