nobody is going to be an expert on which stocks
are going to gap..
one of the simple things to keep in mind is whether
the stock had a lot of buying pressure and did
not really go up too high..a lot of people make
the mistake of thinking a stock that runs 50 percent is
an excellent gap candidate when in fact it is a great
trap stock for the next morning since the mm might have been
playing the double down theory to get his position back to even...

not to say it will happen, but a stock like IPVO that only went up 10 percent on news would be a better possibility than a URMP that moved 60 percent...

also charting the percentage of stocks that gap up lately is as smart as charting stock moves cause i am finding the gap and trap to be more of a mm trick than ever before ....

Skat: Stockgappers has had a history of 3 yrs or so of good trading on stocks that close strong. Not sure how he has done this yr, since he no longer posted each trade as he used to. I liked that since you could more easily track the progress. Not sure why he took that off.

Anyway, the answer is Yes, many times some of the stocks we're playing that are breakouts, are also good candidates for a gapper and sometimes a run following. Stockgapper usually only does so if there is some type of news,PR, or future event that is causing the move, not necessarily technicals as is done here. That's where the difference is.

Stockgappers does very well though for sure.

OT Handle with care is all I can say, especially concerning the live chat. I prefer this board a lot more. Consider, if you play the stockgappers pick, there will be about 200 other people dumping it in the morning. Be very careful. Papertrade their picks, and you will get the picture.
