There have been options somewhere on this, along the way, as I recall one woman who posted a couple of years back. I was just learning the ropes, when I fired my broker (BTW class action filed against them--and I did not know that until I got the papers on Monday! hahahaaha...I feel validated!) people were talking about shorting the shares....I could not find an option chain on my Scottrade, barely knew about options then, but was inhaling EVERYthing I read...so I posted such on the Yahoo board, and stated what I could not find...and asked where to find an option chain. (I now am familiar with Options Xpress, and 'nekkeds' and know enuf to be dangerous about puts and calls, blah blah. Well....
This woman proudly announced that shorting was simple--just call my broker, as she did! I think she may have been naked shorting....but let me ask something...what would happen to a hedge fund if the DID trade TKO on option?
