Hi Chevy, that would be so wonderful if you and your wife could make the trip, I would be so honoured to meet you as I can tell by your manor of communications that you would be a kindred spirit.
I have on occasion while walking bumped into the odd lynx, but not often, they are here but like to keep to themselves.
When we have turkey or lots of left overs I run over into the bush with the leftovers and leave it for the wolves and fox as getting near winters end the females with cubs are getting so thin and scrawny, I feel for them.
With four males to feed in my house, we don't have many left overs but with turkey and chicken there is lots of skin etc.. but I try to run over there with what ever type of food I can for them. It is a hard winter for these animals once the squirrel population is thinning out.
We have some bald eagles too, those are wonderful animals.
As our community has exploded with the oilsands development we are having less sightings of all the animals, but I think due to the location of my home I am fortunate that I can still see many animals periodically.
I will put you into my little book of will be members, I know that Redsky has already told me he will be making the trip.
