You are correct re Iplex/ALS in U.S. ....I found this yesterday on the I-V board....it now has some follow on:

I was impressed by the gentleman from Greece. He has clearly researched treatments for his wife and shared correspondence from multiple sources. I have been checking ALSTDF site multiple times a day since January. They will get Iplex moving if efficacy is shown and news will show there first since the Iplex ball is rolling and they are aware of current developements.

No reason to doubt the US patient. Hopefully no one would be so cruel as to posting lies in such a forum.

Dr. McCarty was checking on Carlo Bruno and said he would update the forum on what he found but so far it has been quiet from him and his interpreter. He went several days without posting at all which is unusual for him and showed up today saying they were actively persuing IGF-1. He still makes no distinction between IGF-1 and Iplex and that could be a problem with all research in this field given the safe dosing differences. Dr. Moxley realized it with MMD, don't know why they seem to ignore it with ALS.
