The PCA3 has quite a few false positives by itself but if you filter that with a combined PSA test, the figures are better. The problem is getting the PCA3 material expressed into the urine. If you do not manually stroke the prostate, I think it is 3 times from each side or you will not get any genetic material in the urine. That test is a tough sell for screening just because of the cost but if you test positive for PSA and you are less than 60 years old, I would not hesitate. The younger you are, the more concerned you should be.
