To Boogieman's point, I was told the physics is the same but executed differently.

Identical twins....

So the identical parts of the technology are that both IVTs result in driving an output shaft at variable speeds, forward & reverse, and can be controlled by a human.

Yes, I agree with these parts.

However, I don't agree with the fact that there are any other identical features.
