Many are holding restricted shares, and/or tightly held long term positions for when the company is bought for 15-20 bucks a share. Common knowledge. All this short term volatility is to drive little money people like us crazy so we sell cheap.
My educated and semi-informed guestimate is that somewhere between 1-2 million shares are trading in the float. I wouldn't doubt that there has been some naked selling.
