Unfortunately, after the 150% increase of commission next week in IB, I can't do much swing trades anymore. Does anyone know any low commission broker(s) for Canadian trading? Fortunately, my IB accounts already tripled or more in the past 6-8 months. I can trade bigger stocks for longer term instead of squeeze out a few pennies in each trade!
I complained it to IB and got this response:
"I apologize for any inconvenience this change has caused, however, this change has been put into place based upon our long-term experience with the costs and risks associated with these very low priced stocks. As is the case with our other product offerings, our objective is to set fees for this class of securities at levels that are unquestionably competitive, yet commensurate with their particular and often unique costs.
