The K8L is AMD's future, pure and simple. If there was a working K8L in that demo box AMD's chief stereo salesman would have been swinging from the chandeliers shouting that at the top of his voice instead of whining about Intel using SPEC2000 benchmarks (sheesh!).
You'd have to sink to a new level of AMD fanboism to believe that they would secretly sneak in a Barcelona demo, and only refer to it ambiguously under the name they gave to their previous generation product.
