They could have wanted, with the just made deal with BOTY, whatever it is, to go a different direction and produce the movie themselves, or they, or someone, could have wanted Sean to cancel the movie, altogether... but, these are some believable possibilities for what "NOT" could mean...without any clarification from the company... Then, there is TORO TV, which have paying members around the world...
