First, once again, that PR is talking about the parental strains and NOT the hybrid strains.

Second, it was a very small "trial" done in a lab under extremely controlled conditions.

Third, the PR doesn't say anything about "disease-free".

Fourth, the PR is filled with lawyer-speak. Things are alluded to, but never actually stated. For example, it says that disease was not "detected". As anyone knows, if you don't look for it, you won't find it. Another example is that it states "they had never experienced an entire production cycle from egg to egg without any disease in a batch of thousands of silkworms", but it doesn't say that they did experience it. The Douchebag CEO is a master at writing BS statements that people can then use to imagine anything that they want.
