Well, I don't want to argue with you especially since we agree on a lot of points but do keep in mind, it's not just America. That's using blinders when viewing history..
Humankind has been messed up since the beginning. Wars, slavery, hate, rape, religious zealousy, etc. are NOT something that happened only here.
We are our own worse enemies. That's the challenge for the future. I just don't know if we are wired to become totally peaceful.
