100%. I'm a city guy and agree we're all in this together. Health doesn't give a hoot about where you live....

The scary part is that universal healthcare doesn't even touch on long-term care. And if you aren't set up for that, it can ruin you financially, and even your loved ones. How many people can afford 10K a month (minimum) in an assisted living facility? I would venture to say very few unless they have a regular pension with their social security, plus long-term care. Medicare covers zero of that.

Rural “hospitals”
Struggle because the big boys put up walk in clinics on every corner. Any significant emergency gets shuttled to their hospitals. Which they count on unfortunately. Most of these rural hospitals are not equipped to handle major procedures…
