#37612 RE: JOKER #37610

Joker,
If this is NOT a legitimate business, then IMO, we all can feel much better as an insurance carrier with far more research resources than we lowly investors, has also been taken. If this were true, I can just imagine all of the attorneys an insurance company like "West Bend" has on retainer. It is as if in this litigious day and age, insurance companies, almost operate based on the involvement of attorneys. I can just imagine all of the junior lawyers fanaticizing about making names for themselves and being able to go into private practice after they prosecute businessmen, professional traders, possibly some brokerages or institutions and who knows which politico if any, for a grand fraud (or something like it) scheme. It has been my unfortunate experience that Insurance Company attorneys are particularly painful and thorough especially if things are a slam dunk or if the proceedings will get photo ops and the like.

If we, the little guys are as concerned as it seems we are, I would be willing to bet my right leg that everything that has gone on between ATEWC since West Bend got involved has been recorded and copied. Also I am sure any politicos that may have become involved have done the same. I don't think we have as much to worry about from a fraudulent scam as we do from those who have put many eggs in one basket and now are willing to take a large loss with the hopes that the money removed from ATWEC will go into a sure thing. this is what will provide the MMs with cheap shares IMO.
IMO, just the fact that there is an insurance company involved (according to its own web site) as well as politicians, this separates ATEWC from the most of the rest of the start ups out there which are on the pinks.

I guess the bottom line is that if this does turn out to be as bad as some think, then there is a good chance we will at least get to go to the trials which will result from the attorney's efforts. LOL
JMO,
