Quantum computing has two issues. One is the temperature which it occurs and the other is error correction. I also don't believe we are decades away since the real issue is error correction. I believe there are some very good but very specific quantum computers (not speaking about computing at quantum speeds but actual use of Qbits). Once they come up with reliable error correction, we'll be hearing a lot more about it. I say in 5 years it will be much more feasible and have a greater available market. But it will cost a lot of money. Weather is an excellent application for quantum computing.
