facs, what are the first call dates on the two convertibles? Have you ever heard of a tender offer at a slight premium to induce earlier conversion? Doggone those $7 conversion convertibles! But if they hadn't issued them, suppliers might have put the squeeze on AMD forcing bankruptcy, and/or a higher perceived risk of bankruptcy would have lowered sales even more.

I think AMD will definitely convert the first convertible bond issue since it has a price in the low 20's

I plan to be out of this stock before the second conversion becomes an issue.

Just curious, why dont you just take couple of minutes time to read the terms of these convertibles before thinking and planning around it? ;-) K.
