capital gains are taxable, once the selling begins, then even more selling to pay taxes on gains

that is one reason why bull markets run out of steam

you dont make any money until you sell

and if you did well, the government wants it, then selling begets selling

thats what we saw in 2022 after huge run in 2021 and higher rates

people think rates are going back to zero or something???

we may never see interest rates under 3% again
