I hear ya and I don’t use it lightly and get caught up myself and thinking but the definition of cure is: to relieve (a person or animal) of the symptoms of a disease or a condition.
Is cancer not the disease? That is why I said it is a cure for cancerous tumors meaning it only cures your cancer if you have a tumor with cancer in it, specific to that tumor. Does it not eradicate the cancer?
It is just a matter of how it is “treated “. Hence IDE. I’m not arguing and thinking out loud except looking up “cure”. I don’t want to take “cure” lightly either but I do t feel like I’m too far off
