Company said they would submit by end of Q2 several times. Last day of June is the 30th, a Sunday. Since submission to FDA is via an internet portal, the 30th by midnight, they could submit the IDE request and still be in Q2. They would need to disclose by Friday, July 5th, since 4th is a holiday. I expect disclosure will be by end of week imo.

How can it be insider trading if they’ve already said they will announce? (Honestly asking, I know the basics but not any complexities)

Yes, that would be way too specific. I would be looking for an update more to the tune of all analysis has been finalized etc.
