Forward looking events is the key here. I don't know how many times I've seen this exact same scenario play out on a subbie breaking out of the box.
USXP comes to mind, it did this exact same thing, popped out, people took profits, it dropped back down and then popped out again and progressively moved into the pennies.
This are extreme basement level prices here, this stock has just started to move.
Nothing moves in a straight line, and what is happening with this stock is no different from any of the other breakout formations from the triple zero's.
