Yep, the most extreme thunderstorms I've ever seen were in FL.. The best part was back then it would rain what seemed like feet deep but an hour later it would all run off like nothing happened. That's not what's going on these days. The water has nowhere to go and lays stagnant or just pools up in the ocean and returns itself back to shore.
The lightning bolts were insane but that was back when I was an idiot and used to go out and dance around in the stuff for fun.
