And Christ used their evil and turned it around for good ‘for our sakes he who knew no sin became sin that we might become the righteousness of God in him’ -2Corinthians 5:21 and ‘ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree” -Galatians 3:13, fulfilling the Law for us in Deuteronomy 21:22-23-‘And if a man has committed a crime punishable by death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, his body shall not remain all night on the tree, but you shall bury him the same day, for a hanged man is cursed by God. You shall not defile your land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance.’
What crime have we committed deserving of death you might ask? Paul tells us ‘the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord’ -Romans 6:23 and ‘All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God’ -Romans 3:23
To those who haven’t yet to you I say repent therefore and believe in Jesus Christ and you shall be saved from eternal death!
