In order to find the defendant guilty, Judge Juan Merchan says the jury must be unanimous

What he said is that they don't have to agree on what the underlying crime was, but they have to agree there was an underlying crime. One could conclude it was election crime, one could conclude it was tax crime, but they have to all agree there was an underlying crime and they all have to be unanimous.
