Yes and no.

”Most companies are in the textile sector are in development stage for around two decades?”

How many other companies in the textile sector are making silk with spidersilk proteins in them from silkworms? How many have done it overnight?

”And that the pilot production and ramping up takes close to a decade and a half?”

More like the repeated pilots and ramping up that led them to where they are now. The repeated claims of production is just around the corner are well known. But the past is the past and BAM1 metric ton production is the present future.

”That there’s lots and lots of quiet periods where companies have no comments whatsoever to unanswered questions?”

Sure seems different now.

”That most textile companies will sign numerous LOI, MOI, and potential partnerships but will never follow up or comment on them again?”

We agreed with (fill in the blank) to make silk together, but we didn’t make silk together. Is that what you want them to announce when it is plainly obvious to everyone without needing an announcement?

”Do I have it about right?“

Yes and no. I share in your frustration, but brighter days are ahead with BAM1 and VSA and Lam Dong. So turn that frown upside down. Kong on. :-)
