Well, I try not to come across as pumping but when someone owns stock they do tend to get excited as sp is moving and, of course, they hope to see the SP increase. Seems reasonable as a SH to want to see the SP go up.
Why anyone would waste their time trying to convince others that a stock is a terrible investment and even more so, those same people go off on total strangers...THAT does not make sense. I can think of no other example where such is the case other than fans rooting for their perspective teams and perhaps calling others names etc. But, that's because those folks have an interest in the outcome.
It's also why I laugh at comments like " you're track record " what exactly is my track record ? Posting on different stock specific boards of stocks I've bought for a trade at some point ? lol whatever.
In the end, I don't really care. I buy and sell as I see fit. I've made some huge pops and lord knows I've had plenty of losses and even some large ones. Never claimed to be the perfect human being or a trading guru. What I have done is spent the years building relationships, as 100 eyes and multiple sets of ears can find more trades than one person alone.
