#113203 RE: Knowledge is King #113200

Kik, I didn't have any trouble. I had a total of six accounts that were mine or I managed for others at TDA. And I also had one account at Schwab before the switch. Five of the six accounts at TDA moved over seamlessly... and all five were moved to a 'family of accounts' combined with the one I already had at Schwab. The same User ID and password to access all sub-accounts under one main account.

The sixth account at TDA I had mistakenly never submitted on of those 'trading authority forms' at TDA. So in essence the account 'was missing'. But I called Schwab, filled out their 'trading/account authority forms' (or the account owner did), and by the next day it was added to my 'Group' of accounts at Schwab.. I think i had to do something with the USERID and Password, but pretty quick.

best.

The first Schwab login required a text message security code be sent to my relative's cell phone .... she called me with the code, I identified the computer as private and also entered my cell phone number as an alternate .... Schwab's security software now recognizes my PC as being a known access point for the account.

KIK - I presume you did some shorting at TDA ?

When I look at my short selling history at Schwab, they are showing debits for both the short sale and buy to cover transactions going back 2+ years .... the older than 2+ year history is correct. Are you seeing that too ?
