Yes, I have waited all these years. But as you say, they will have to clean the mess up before they can become DTC eligible, and I can wait. Right now, mine are worth 6K. As the price moves up, they will become even more valuable.
I don't think it is simply a matter of calling Etrade, although I called them years ago about it and they had no answers at all for me. I do remember that you have to contact NSAV's atty, Vic, to kick off the process. It was my understanding that it takes $500 to do it.
