Without a CUSIP number it is impossible to buy or sell the delisted stock.

The Judge first ordered Bioamber to be sold as a going concern but no one was interested in taking on the debt.

The Judge ordered a liquidation of assets.

Why did Bioamber file for bankruptcy if it was so valuable?

Why didn't Bioamber license their IP if it was so valuable?

Also if the company assets and IP were so valuable that everyone wanted it - why couldn't they workout a for Mezzanine financing etc?

The answer is that when Bioamber filed for bankruptcy it had very little value.
