Maybe, but it's not just the battle with the infringers, it's the PTAB battle too. And that's why I think even Micron who seems to be more behind the 8 ball won't settle either. All the infringers are hoping that most patents will be invalidated and stay that way even after appeal, and then they're off scot-free for the most part. The gap of hopes and expectations between both sides is too wide for a compromise that either side would agree to at this point. I'm really surprised Gilstrap called for the mediation again. Can't imagine much will become of it, but it'd be great if it did.
