It is easy to throw out - there is going to be a short squeeze - smart investors opened short positions at $8 after the last reverse split - and were out when it was down to $2.35 - that is a 70% profit.
Once the dilutive dividend was announced the short positions should be closed or they will owe the dividend to the broker they borrowed the stock to short.
If you owned stock in May 2023 - you have one share now - so they could have the MOASS and you would still be underwater.
There are very few Short Squeezes - but on every scam stock board there are always a few who are constantly screaming Short Squeeze but are clueless about how shorting works.
