Humph. I don't think so. They did use spoons. I'm not very good with chopsticks, but people who've practiced are just as comfortable with them as they are with forks.
And samurai didn't carry around nunchucks and throwing stars. That was ninjas.
Women carried things in the sleeves of their kimonos. But men didn't seem to wear stuff with big sleeves in that period. I suppose a good deal could be hidden in an obi, though.
