As the article said, there are now lots of Dems in or near major Sunbelt cities, increasing prospects for Dem wins in those states.

Personally, I still wouldn't want to live there. I don't like hot weather.

Yes, rich people like to move to where there's absolutely no regulations and taxes until it effects them. My ex business partner got his house destroyed in a hurricane down there in sunny Florida and finally woke up when it had been two years since the insurance company came up with a check, then told him they will not be issuing any more new policies, like forever.
