Bashers don't affect PPS - bashers typically don't have any shares, and nobody shorts these pieces of shit.

PPS drops when pumpers & those who get into run-ups sell when they see the run is over.

If pumpers still have shares to sell, they'll tell you they're "adding" all the way down to convince you to hold so they can get better exits.
