My daughter is now in her early 40s, and she has to explain this war to her child, I know she is disgusted with the pictures of children being blown up, killed, or just maimed.
Same with my son and his children, maybe that is another reason why support Israel is diminishing with each generation. They were raised by parents who tried to teach them that war is wrong. Then they meet someone like Brooklyn and wonder why people believe this kind of senseless killing of children is acceptable.
But like Brooklyn will always remind everyone, mankind and America has done it in its past, so why stop now. Maybe this is why support for Israel is losing slipping Israel is not very special, it is just another country that believes in the slaughtering of children, so why should anyone support Israel.
