Ethereum is a blockchain technology/network and Digishares is a trading platform. They are not the same. One cannot replace the other IMO. Although my knowledge of this is limited in general. I'm not aware of cancelling or replacing Digishares.
There are indeed some major developments going on with several banks that may or may not involve Digishares. But again, I'm probably not aware of the details 😄. And it is best for me not to discuss this publicly.
