I thought what were the odds of Sheff's wife going into labor after 8 1/2 months - I couldn't find a good answer, but it looks like she had about a 25% chance of having given birth already. She is just getting to full term now. The odds of her giving birth during the 4-day tournament would be a good question for a MA211 Statistics I final exam. My guess is about 3 to 5%. I should try to figure it out.
With Scheffler's being #1 and considering his current form you'd expect him to be the popular pick. In our little Diehard group the same, i left him out there hoping maybe to snag a win with him in future when not so many others had him. MasterBlastr's was a calculation too, i wasn't even aware of.
His wife is due any day now. He has stated that if she goes into labor he would w/d to be with her. But I gotta believe she would do anything in her power to delay delivery until after the final hole is played.
