Really, THAT surprising that Republicans didn't want a job with PUBLIC Broadcasting?

Some professions self select for people who WANT to be in them; education, the sciences and much of publishing for example. What is there about Trump, his supporters, the GOP House, that remotely suggests that they respect ANY of those professions?

I see no political slants in Ken Burns' productions, The American Experience, Frontline and Nova, for starters.

Also quite interesting is the way he seems to blame everything on DEI. I know there's a word for that sort of thinking but it escapes me at the moment.
