Most interesting thing in the write up is that the gap didn’t shrink much after washout? That indicates a disease modifying effect, altho perhaps it would take more than 2 months to lose the bump?

I can’t see article since paywalled (and not yet so widely spread that Google Scholar knows where free copies are and not yet on on Sci-Hub), but did they measure often enough that you can see whether the slope changed permanently, or, alternatively, it was just a bump then the slope continued at the same rate as placebo groups? Eg big pop in movement ability over first 3 months, then continues to degrade at same rate as placebo, but starting from a better location?
