Who knows? But they are the products of a fascist USA...it has been our heartbeat forever, our society truly shaped by the money grubbers. And yes it is depressing and invalidating of science and progress, ultimately though the reality we live within, I guess. Would that it were different, much different.
Make no mistake, there is a bright glowing through-line from Trump to Cohn and beyond, from George W. Bush to Hitler. And the "conservatives" just love educating their slaves about all the uncomfortable truths about our History. So much so that many people are unaware of them entirely.
