The Court converts the pretrial conference set for March 18, 2024, to a status conference at which the parties should be prepared to: (1) provide a complete menu of dates the parties are mutually available for a pretrial conference and trial (even if those dates are not mutually agreeable) through June 2024, and (2) discuss the concerns and framework the Court set forth in its order requiring revision of pretrial documents.”
Trial sometime Apr through June. Keep in mind, Netlist sought to stay this case till SamsungTX trial resolves certain license issues, so if BOC is after SamsungTX—whose trial date is TBD soon—then Netlist gets their sequence of events.

Wow. Well, it could be a few things. If Yoder is being taken off the case? Yes, it could be because of a real medical condition, or it could be that Samsung simply wants him removed - that they don't like the corner Yoder has painted them in and they want to BOOT him. They couldn't ask for a delay if they simply want to boot him - the court wouldn't stand for it. So, they might have invented this medical issue to both get Yoder out and have a bit of time allowed to spool up another lead attorney.

Or. Yoder really is in dire straights medically and the issue is real. So, they need as much time as the judge will give them to prepare another lead.

At any rate - Samsung is doing this, knowing the court will give only a limited time for another attorney to be spooled up. Possibly they will use this to appeal any loss that might result in the case, citing the dire condition of its attorney and the lack of sufficient time given by the judge for the replacement of its lead attorney.

We already know that Samsung wants nothing more than more delay. Delay, delay, and delay! That is has been at least part of their game plan all along.
